I'm Kate.
THE SHORT:

Over my career, I’ve helped three startups grow into category leaders by evolving their brands, building lean, high-performing creative teams, and running digital campaigns that improve through constant testing and optimization. My design work spans print, packaging, digital, interiors, and events, bringing ideas to life for brands and individuals alike.
THE LONG:
​
My mother was an art teacher, so as soon as I could hold a crayon, I was drawing, painting, and Shrinky Dinking. I knew early on that I was meant to make things.
​
In high school, I earned a spot in a competitive two-year studio art program that gave me a strong foundation in 2D and 3D design. As a BFA student, I spent four years in the studio painting, drawing, sculpting, photographing, printmaking, and designing sets.
​
My first job out of college was at a greeting card company, where I developed an obsession with typography and discovered, to my surprise, a knack for leading people. Since then, working across industries has shaped me into a leader who strengthens teams and pushes colleagues to do their best work. Today I manage cross-functional teams, build systems that keep work moving, mentor junior designers, and help shape strategy and client relationships.

When I’m not behind a screen, you’ll find me exploring, dancing, cooking, or traveling.
I’m always energized by a new challenge, and I do my best work alongside people whose curiosity and passion match my own.
