Me

The short:

Over the course of my career, I have helped grow 3 startups into leaders in their industries by upholding and evolving brand expression, building highly efficient and successful creative teams, and crafting and executing high performing marketing campaigns across digital channels using strategies informed by testing, learning, and optimizing. I have designed everything from print, packaging, digital, interiors, and events helping brands and individuals bring their ideas to life.

The long:

​

My mother was an art teacher, so as soon as I could hold a crayon, I was drawing, painting, paper macheing, and shrinky dinking. It was clear to me from a very young age that I was meant to create. 

 

In high school, I was accepted into a highly competitive two year studio art program which gave me a strong foundation in both 2D and 3D design. As a BFA student in college, I spent four years in the studio painting, drawing, sculpting, photographing, printmaking, and set designing.

 

In addition to my skills as a designer, I am a problem solver and leader. My first job out of college was for a greeting card company where I developed an obsession with typography and discovered, to my surprise, an aptitude for managing others. The expertise I have accumulated across different industries has shaped me into a leader who consistently strengthens teams and challenges colleagues to do their best work. I manage teams across departments, develop efficient systems, mentor junior designers, and am involved with strategic planning and client relations.

 

When I’m not behind a computer screen, I’m exploring, dancing, cooking, and traveling.

 

I’m always excited by a new challenge and strive to work in environments where the innovation and passion of my colleagues matches my own.
